A road trip to Rochester to record the band at their practice space.
- Live session, filmed and recorded multitrack
- Long-form podcast interview
- Behind-the-scenes from the trip
A red-brick church from about 1900, turning into a live music hall upstairs, a workspace downstairs, and a media company that streams, films and records everything in between. We start building December 1. You can watch the whole thing happen.
Everything runs under one name. Each color is a different part of it.
Live music, DJs, comedy and listening-room shows under the original timber trusses and chandeliers. Built so 120 to 150 people feel packed. All ages, no bar.
Open workstations, focus desks, a 10-seat conference room and a lounge. Opens first, around June 2027.
A recording corner for the stream and podcasts, plus cameras that follow every show, interview and renovation day.
The building and the media company start on the same day, so the renovation is the first show. Dates below are our current plan and may move.
Contents and religious items come out. The trusses, chandeliers, stained glass and floors stay. Building gets measured and surveyed.
Zoning, architect and fire engineer drawings, historic commission sign-off.
Original shows only, about 10 to 12 hours of new programming a week to start.
Conference room, call booth, power and data, restrooms, recording corner.
The morning show goes daily and the stream grows to 15 to 20 new hours a week.
Raised stage where the altar was, new PA and lighting, concessions.
First public show in the hall. Grand opening in October.
Shows in development. Everything is recorded once and published to YouTube, Spotify and the stream.
The renovation diary. Every week of turning a church into a venue, on camera.
The morning show. Weekly at launch, daily from June 2027.
Bands from arrival to soundcheck to stage, and the talk that happens in between.
Music from the region, played and talked about by the people who make it.
Late-night programming: DJ sets and live mixes.
Live performances recorded downstairs, stripped down and close-mic'd.
The businesses, makers and festivals around town.
Longer films on the bands we work with, starting on the road.
Everything that happens off-mic and off-stage.
More ideas we're developing, and where each one lives.

Where you'll find us before the doors open.
The parade route has passed South Street. We plan an open house with a free afternoon set.
Walk-throughs of the renovation during architecture month.
A stage on our front steps for Porchfest, and the hall as a Fringe Festival venue.
Newburgh doesn't have a room built for listening. The real listening rooms are across the river in Beacon. We're making one out of a church that's stood on South Street since about 1900, and building a radio station, a podcast and a YouTube channel around it so the whole valley can hear what happens inside.
We run the sound ourselves, we book original acts, and we'd rather record a band in their practice space than wait for the perfect stage.
Live sound engineer at the A1 and A2 level, electrician by trade, and the person who keeps saying yes to the next idea.

We go to the band. Practice spaces, basements, wherever they play best. Every session becomes a live performance, a long-form podcast interview and behind-the-scenes clips.

The 24/7 stream of radio 119 goes live on January 11, 2027. All original shows, out of Newburgh.

Songs, poems, photos, art, short films, a band we should interview. If it's original and it's good, it could end up on the stream, the channel or the walls of the hall.
Only you see this. Newest first.
We're signing five founding sponsors by June 1, 2027. Founding sponsors get in before the stream launches, the hall opens and the audience grows, and they're part of the story from the first episode of the renovation diary.
Spots and show sponsorships on the 24/7 stream. We make ads people actually listen to.
